Heartsine AED Trainers.

All three of the Heartsine Samaritan AEDs are also available as AED trainers, allowing the deployment of any of the AEDs to be practised truthfully. In addition, it is still possible to switch between the preset scenarios during training, allowing different situations to be simulated during an emergency. A specific trainer is available for each model of the Heartsine Samaritan AEDs, both the semi-automatic Heartsine Samaritan 350P and 500P AEDs and the fully automatic Heartsine Samaritan 360P AED. Except for a few details, the AED trainers look exactly the same as the AEDs and, just like the Heartsine Samaritan AEDs, the AED trainers are reasonably priced.

Brand and type specific AED Trainers

Does your organisation use one type of AED device (on multiple locations) as standard, it may be desirable to also practise using this type. That's why manufacturers make an AED trainer from the AED's they put on the market. The benefit of these AED trainers is that the person who practises with it also has a big chance to use the same model in real life. The visual aspects and the feeling are therefore the same during practise as in an actual emergency situation and this may be in the advantage of the (unexperienced) rescue helpers.
