Heartsine is founded in 1998 and is specially known for the Heartsine Samaritan Pad series (Public Access defibrillator). Heartsine Technologies, nowadays part of Stryker, promotes the use of defibrillation therapy in uncommon user situations. The company does this mainly by continuing to innovate in robust, user friendly automated external defibrillators (AED's) and lifesaving techniques. Heartsine Samaritan Pad series

The Heartsine Samaritan Pad series is developed as external defibrillator that can be used in any situation and has the hightes possible dust- and watertightness of the common AED's on the market. In addition, the Heartsine Samaritan Pad AED's are compact and light, allowing a helper to easily carry it.

The Samaritan Pad AED's give visual help in an emergancy situation through theilluminating icons on top of the AED. The icons are supported by spoken instructions. The on/off button and shock button (for semi automatic AED's) are located on top off the AED. The Samaritan Pad 350p is the standard semi-automatic AED and the Samaritan Pad 360p is the fully automatic version of the same model.

Samaritan pad 500p

The Heartsine Samaritan Pad 500p is the more extensive model of the series. This defibrillator offers CPR support in addition to the instructions given by the illuminating icons. The CPR support provides feedback about the effectivity of the chest compressions and thus improves the quality of the resuscitation. The Samaritan Pad 500p AED is only available as a semi automatic.
