Maurice Volleberg became the new director of AED Solutions on January 1, 2020, taking over from the founder and owner, Rob Henderikx, who started the company in 2006.
Maurice shared his thoughts: "I am extremely proud of this appointment and the trust I have been given. I have held various roles within the organization, and this new position is the ultimate reward. Our goal is and remains to improve the chances of survival after cardiac arrest by enabling everyone to provide appropriate assistance when needed. We achieve this by providing targeted advice to each customer, taking into account what is important in their situation and what aligns with the organization's preferences. Our added value lies in collaborating with our customers, being service-oriented, and offering expertise and quality. That's what we stand for. Within our own organization, we encourage development, initiative, and responsibility, so everyone should come to work with pleasure. As a team, we are ready for the future and the new challenges it brings. I look forward to it and have full confidence."
Maurice began his career at AED Solutions in 2008 as an office support and sales employee. Over the years, he transitioned from order entry, service and maintenance planning, and the management of Heart Safe projects to the role of Commercial Director in 2018.
Rob had this to say about Maurice: "I have known Maurice as a hardworking and committed employee. His calm demeanor and sense of reality immediately caught my attention. In addition, he has a healthy sense of humor that makes working with him enjoyable. Working with him over the years, we have come to know each other better. He has handled all the responsibilities I entrusted him with excellently. Regarding products and customer contacts, there is nothing more I can teach him; that is well taken care of. By involving him more in the company's operations over the past two years, a complete picture has emerged, leading to, in my opinion, the ultimate step: the position of general director. Maurice has good relationships with suppliers, customers, and employees. He can now work on developing his own style of doing business and leadership.
