Playing padel safe.

Padel has been on a significant rise in popularity in the Netherlands and Belgium in recent years. We observe the construction of padel courts in various cities and municipalities in both countries, and these courts are being actively visited and used. The number of members is noticeably increasing at both standalone courts and clubs, including tennis clubs. We applaud the growing participation in this sport! However, we hope that safety is also a consideration at these courts and clubs. When we think about safety, one question that comes to mind is whether an AED is present.

Some of our employees have also taken up padel regularly. Unfortunately, they have noticed that not every sports facility is equipped with the necessary safety equipment. Even on padel courts, accidents can happen. Cardiac arrest can occur anywhere, especially during physical exertion.

To assess whether safety is being taken into account at padel courts, we have initiated an action. This action aims to determine whether padel courts are already equipped with an AED. Padel courts are often built at sports clubs, campgrounds, or tennis clubs, and there is a chance that an AED is already present. However, if there is already an AED, it is important to ascertain whether the AED is well-maintained and ready for use in an emergency.

Especially for all padel and tennis clubs/courts, we offer an attractive package that includes an AED with all necessary accessories. Below are two possible AED packages, one with an indoor AED cabinet and one with an outdoor AED cabinet. Depending on the situation at your club or association, you can choose the most suitable package.
